Indianapolis native cut from American Idol competition
HOLLYWOOD, CA (February 21, 2014) -Indianapolis native Marrialle Sellars was cut from American Idol on Thursday after making it to the Top 20.
She opened this season with Bruno Mars' hit song 'Grenade.'
Her outgoing personality, talent and spunk landed her a spot in the live shows.
Tuesday night she took the stage live for the first time belting out her rendition of Katy Perry's 'Roar.'
The judges weren't blown away, and Sellars' fate was in America's hands.
In Thursday's episode, Sellars name wasn't called for a Top 13 spot.
The 13 finalists for the competition are: Malaya Watson, Ben Briley, Emily Piriz, Alex Preston, Jessica Meuse, Dexter Roberts, Caleb Johnson, Majesty Rose York, MK Nobilette, Sam Woolf, Jena Irene Ascuitto, Kristen O'Connor and Bria Anai Johnson.
