South Dakota would run out of cliff space real fast if all these 'Mount Rushmores' actually went up.

The latest superstar to throw out his list of the best four players in NBA history is Kobe Bryant. According to CBS' Eye on Basketball, Kobe would have the following etched in stone:

Kobe's Rushmore: Magic, Bird, Michael, and Russell. 'But it's impossible to do four, come on, man.'

In case you're keeping count, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird and Michael Jordan have three votes apiece. LeBron James, Kevin Durant and now Kobe all included those three on their lists.

It was LeBron's answer to a question from Steve Smith that started this whole craze. And his fourth was Oscar Robertson-though he did say he'd eventually have himself up there as well. Kobe, on the other hand, kept his comments a bit more humble, making no mention of himself.

Durant switched things up and went big, via Bleacher Report's Ethan Skolnick:

Durant was asked for his Mount Rushmore. Goes with Jordan, Magic, Bird and Kareem.

Kobe, of course, stayed big but opted to throw it back even further, going with 11-time NBA champion Russell.

Stephen Curry and Roy Hibbert have also announced their own basketball Mount Rushmores, but with twists suited to them.

Curry named his top four shooters, going with his father Dell, Reggie Miller, Ray Allen and Steve Kerr.

Hibbert called Georgetown the ' Mount Rushmore of bigs', naming fellow Hoyas Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning and Dikembe Mutombo. He left room for himself as No. 4.

All this talk has been fun, and at this pace, the league could start counting votes in the next few days.

Heck, maybe they should just poll the entire league and then commission the real thing based on the results.
