'The Lego Movie' Sequel In The Works

The honchos behind the new The Lego Movie have already started work on a sequel, just days before the film has even opened in cinemas. The much-anticipated animated movie features a cavalcade of all-star voices, including Morgan Freeman, Liam Neeson, Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Chris Pratt and Will Arnett, and Warner Bros. executives are so confident the release will be a big box office success, they have hired Wreck-it Ralph writer Jared Stern to begin work on a follow-up. The Lego Movie follows an average Lego mini-figure named Emmet, voiced by Pratt, who is mistaken for a Master Builder and tasked with saving the universe from a ruthless tyrant, voiced by Will Ferrell. The film, which has already received positive reviews, will hit theatres worldwide from Thursday.
