It was all Seattle Seahawks in the first half of Super Bowl 2014.
Fueled by outstanding defense and shaky Denver Broncos play, the Seahawks lead 22-0 at the half. A Bronco mistake on the game's first play, staked Seattle to a 2-0 lead and it didn't get better for the Broncos.
Seattle intercepted two Peyton Manning passes and held the Broncos without a first down for the first 19 1/2 minutes of the game.
Manning's second interception -- on a wobbly pass after his arm was hit by Cliff Avril -- was returned 69 yards for a touchdown by Malcolm Smith.
On the game's first play from scrimmage, the Denver snap went over Peyton Manning's head. The Broncos recovered in the end zone for a Seattle safety. Later in the quarter, Steven Hauschka made 31- and 32-yard field goals to make it 8-0. Marshawn Lynch also scored on a one-yard run in the second quarter for Seattle.
