It must be a daunting task deciding what to wear when you've been invited to The White House, but unfortunately for Bradley Cooper he managed to suffer an embarrassing moment when he was forced to visit the famous building without his underpants.
The Silver Linings Playbook star recalled the cringeworthy moment while speaking to Ellen on the Ellen DeGeneres show.
'I'm getting dressed, like, 10 minutes before I was supposed to go, and literally the pants go up to like here,' the actor revealed while motioning to his thighs, 'and I just started laughing, actually this is hilarious - I'm going to meet the president.'
The Hollywood actor went on to admit the only way to solve the problem was by forgoing his underwear and going commando
'I had to go commando, No. 1 because there was no room at all,' the 39-year-old told the blushing audience.
Going on to admit the incident was horrendous, Bradley gladly added that he made it through the traumatic experience: 'It was a nightmare. But I made it through,' he said.
Mind you we bet that's a sight girlfriend Suki Waterhouse isn't tired of seeing. The couple have stepped their public appearances up a notch recently, with Bradley supporting the British model during her runway appearance for Burberry and the pair accompanying each other to see Tom Ford's 2014 collection.
