WATCH: First Teaser For Paul Walker's Final Completed Film Brick Mansions
Entertainment Tonight screened the short teaser on Tuesday, with the film seeing Walker star as Damien Collier, an undercover cop who tackles the corruption in the criminal underworld of Detroit.
Walker's character teams up with Lino (David Belle), whose girlfriend has been kidnapped by the drug lord that Collier has been tracking. Directed by Camille Delamarre and produced by Luc Besson, the film is based on Besson's French hit District B13.
Brick Mansions is the final movie Walker completed work on before he was killed in November, after the Porsche in which he was a passenger crashed into a pole and burst into flames while travelling at speed through a suburban street in Santa Clarita, California.
While Brick Mansions was in the can, Walker was in the middle of shooting the seventh movie in the smash hit Fast & Furious franchise. The actor and his co-stars were on a break from filming for Thanksgiving when he was killed.
Kurt Russell recently spoke out on the drastic rewriting required on the script of Fast & Furious 7 following the shocking loss of the franchise's leading man.
The Hollywood icon, 62, is a new addition to the cast and plays a 'father figure' to Vin Diesel's character Dom Toretto. While promoting his latest project The Battered Bastards Of Baseball at the Sundance Film Festival last month, Kurt was asked about how the movie is developing.
'They're having to rewrite, they're having to do whatever they're having to do to deal with the situation', Russell said according to the Metro. 'It's catastrophic. It's the worst thing that could happen to a movie but it's not as bad as what happened to Paul.
'So everything is in perspective. He was a terrific guy. And life is full of curveballs. It's just a situation that they'll work out and, at that time, I'll go back to work.'
