Boston's Milan Lucic fined $5000 for low blow against the Red Wings
Pavel Datsyuk's late goal gave the Red Wings a Game 1 victory over the Bruins Friday night in Boston, which is only fair considering what Milan Lucic got away with in the second period. With just a few seconds remaining and the Red Wings charging to get off one final shot, Lucic took Danny DeKeyser out of the play with a well placed stick to the groin.
Lucic was not penalized for the shot, and Jimmy Howard made a spectacular save against Lucic just before Datsyuk scored the winner for Detroit. Karma?
