The Seattle Seahawks locked up one of their most important players for the long haul Monday.
All-pro free safety Earl Thomas has agreed to a multiyear extension with the team, a person with knowledge of the contract told USA TODAY Sports.
The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the deal hadn't been announced.
