Box Office: Captain America Sequel Narrowly Tops Rio 2
Captain America: The Winter Soldier hung on to the top spot at the box office this weekend, but just barely.
The superhero flick earned $41.4 million in its second week, narrowly topping the animated sequel , which took in $39 million in its debut, Box Office Mojo reports.

Horror movie and Kevin Costner's both had soft openings, landing at No. 3 and No. 4 with $12 million and $9.7 million, respectively. fell two spots to No. 5 with $7.5 million, just skirting past , which dropped four spots to No. 6 after earning $7.4 million in its third week.
God's Not Dead closed out the weekend in seventh place with $5.5 million.
Rounding out the Top 10 were The Grand Budapest Hotel (No. 8, $4 million), Muppets Most Wanted (No. 9, $2.2 million) and Mr. Peabody & Sherman (No. 10, $1.8 million).
