Keira Knightley hits the red carpet in unflattering Chanel frock at Begin Again ...

The actress, who has modelled for a number of high fashion brands since she began her career, opted for a rather unflattering frock as she arrived at the premiere of her latest film, Begin Again, at the Tribeca Film Festival last night.

Gracing the red carpet, the Bend it Like Beckham star appeared to be swamped by her dress, which featured a full skirt and structured sequin top.

She teamed the pastel-coloured number, which came complete with a drop waist and large shoulder pads, with a pair of black heels while keeping her hair effortlessly loose.

Happily posing for the cameras though, Keira looked more than impressed with her fashion-forward look and posed up a storm before entering the venue.

She cosied up to co-star Hailee Steinfield, who opted for a sixties vibe in a multicoloured mini dress, which she teamed with black cut out sandals.

Adam Levine also arrived on the red carpet, looking dapper in a navy suit as he posed up a storm with his fiance Behati Prinsloo.

The pair looked loved up as they arrived arm in arm and were pictured partying the night away later on.

Begin Again was formerly called Can A Song Save Your Life and is a musical romantic comedy drama film written and directed by John Carney.

It actually had its premiere at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival.

Musician Gregg Alexander co-wrote songs for the film with the film due for a proper release worldwide in July.
