Ratings: Scandal Hits Finale High; Community, Parenthood Up


No one died in the explosion, but went out with a huge bang Thursday. The Season 3 finale drew 10.5 million viewers and a 3.4 in the adults 18-to-49 demographic, making it the show's most-watched and highest-rated season-ender yet. Scandal finished Season 3 up 39 percent in viewership and 43 percent in the demo. The episode followed Grey's Anatomy (8.1 million, 2.5), which was down a tenth.: Who didn't survive the finale? Four other finales didn't fare as well. The Crazy Ones (5.8 million, 1.5) and Parks and Recreation (2.4 million, 0.9) scored series lows, while (2.9 million, 1.0) and Parenthood(4 million, 1.3) crept up a bit. Surviving Jack (4.3 million, 1.0) also hit a series low following American Idol (7.9 million, 1.9), which was up a tenth, and Hell's Kitchen (4.8 million, 1.7), which rose three tenths.
