Tori Spelling breaks silence on Dean McDermott cheating scandal

Tori Spelling has spoken out for the first time since Dean McDermott's cheating scandal.

'He was my soulmate, but he completely broke my heart,' the 40-year-old 'Beverly Hills 90210' alum told this week's issue of Us Weekly of her philandering husband.

'It makes you not trust anything that's happened in your relationship.'

The couple, who share four children together, are set to star in a Lifetime Docu-series, 'True Tori,' focusing on the two's attempt to save their marriage after McDermott's tryst with 28-year-old Emily Goodhand in Dec. 2013.

'The decision to do this show is not coming from someone who is in a solid, good place. Tori is very, very upset and angry,' a source told People magazine about the reason behind Spelling's choice to air their dirty laundry on television.

'It's just too raw and personal. There's too much pain and it's too private.'

'A part of (Tori) wants to completely humiliate him and make him suffer in front of millions of people. She wants to have some sort of justice. She wants him to truly feel the pain of what he did to her.'

The series was reportedly 'all Tori's idea,' the pal said.

'She's in a total crisis mode. If she can believe that his addiction has nothing to do with her, then maybe they can move on. But there's no way Dean wants to be humiliated on television for cheating on his wife. His life is basically a nightmare.'

McDermott, 47, seems extremely remorseful in a clip released for the show.

'My life means nothing if you're not in it,' he told his wife as he asked to come home after his stint in rehab.

A source added to People that McDermott is currently residing at their home but it's mainly for the well-being of their children.

'They are focused on their kids,' the insider continued.

'Tori doesn't consider her and Dean back together.'
