Meek Mill Calls Out Wale For “Hating”
It looks like some inner-turmoil has surfaced from within the Maybach Music camp... specifically between Meek Mill and Wale.
The Philly rapper took to Twitter Tuesday (July 8) to call out his DC counterpart for hating on him. He blasted Wale, saying he was upset his labelmate did not tweet about his upcoming album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, but added that it was only the latest in a long history of hate.
'Wale just ain't gone tweet a thing about my album... He's been hating on me long time now ...don't even text me cornball! #UNOTMMG,' tweeted Meek.
As he continued, the rapper also added that he doesn't want anyone calling him to make amends. 'Everybody can see it! None of y'all dudes don't call me text me nothing it is what it is!' he wrote. 'I don't really want no suckas in arm reach of me... My hands might lose control! That's how I'm rocking.
'I don't need no support... It's about a lot of these dudes really b hating behind closed doors..All these guys that's on the rap scene kno.'
Despite Meek's claims, Wale denied hating in an Instagram post... posting a screenshot of his support of the Philly rapper's 'Suicidal' single, which he helped spread the word about just seven weeks ago.
'I posted this .but ok,' wrote Wale. 'I wrote a long ass post day before his single dropped .. Mariah record dropped nobody said a word I didn't care .. I still don't... I carry myself with confidence and humility.'
This week, Meek Mill announced a September 9 release date for his sophomore album, Dreams Worth More Than Money, while Wale is readying The Album About Nothing.
