Which 'Harry Potter' Rides Should Hit The 'Wizarding World' Next? The Cast Has ...

Today (July 8), ' The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley ' officially opens to the public, and according to our sources, this is only the beginning:

'They've done phase one, this is phase two, they've already got phase three planned out!' the guy who sold cookies on Universal Orlando's Seuss Landing told MTV News when we visited the park last month.

Which, okay, fine, isn't exactly the most reliable source of info. But with the first 'Harry Potter' themed area, Hogsmeade, allowing park-goers to ride through Hogwarts and the surrounding grounds; and Diagon Alley adding rides for Gringotts Bank and the Hogwarts Express, there's plenty of ground - literally - left to cover from J.K. Rowling's novels. Chances are the park is far from done with the Wizarding World.

So if there are more rides in the offing, what will they be like? When we hit up the red carpet premiere of Diagon Alley, we asked the stars of the movies themselves what they thought the next big ride would be like... Particularly, one themed all around their characters:

Bonnie Wright (Ginny Weasley)

'Oooo, it would be really fun! It could be Quidditch oriented, because at the end of the film she gets really into her Quidditch. God, I hadn't thought about that! I have to go with the designers and start drawing something. Something Quidditch oriented, with a Harry finale at the end.'

Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom)

'I tell you what they'd do, they'd have to do the broomstick from the first one, right? I just was saying, that was my first day at work all those years ago. My first day at work was the broomstick scene, and Chris Columbus took me aside and said, 'This week is all about you, are you ready for that?' I was 10 years old, and went, 'brilliant, no pressure.'

'But it was a great time, I got to do all these stunts, and ride a broomstick. I was a huge fan of the books, and suddenly I was there, on set, riding a broomstick. That would be a good ride.'

James and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George Weasley)

James: 'The funnest ride you could ever imagine! The technology hasn't even been invented for that yet.'

Oliver: 'It would involve broomsticks-'

James and Oliver: 'Fireworks-'

Oliver: 'Pranks, some pranks along the way. Some jets or something like that.'

So it would be crazy dangerous?

James: 'It would be, yeah!'

Oliver: 'So dangerous, they can't build it right now.'

Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood)

'Very, very colorful. There would probably be bubbles. I was thinking about this, actually... You know the way kids meet Santa? You would meet the Crumple-Horned Snorkack. You'd ask for three wishes, and then somehow go on a ride that incorporates that, and changes your thinking. It would have to be a ride that makes you think anything is possible. It wouldn't be outside, it would be a magical world created inside. Lots of animals fluttering around, and overwhelming nature.'

Warwick Davis (Professor Flitwick)

'It would be something to do with levitation, somehow, because that was his favorite spell. I would love that spell in real life, just to reach a cash machine. It would be so useful.'

Maybe one of those elevator dropping rides then, like Tower of Terror?

'Yeah! But I don't like those rides, I don't like that feeling of dropping! I like the fact that most of the time I'm too short to go on roller coasters. [Laughs]'

Tom Felton (Draco Malfoy)

'Pretty terrifying! I don't dare imagine what these guys would come up with. They seem to have imaginations that are endless, and I know that the people that put together the park are incredibly hardworking people. Who knows? Maybe four years, we'll be coming back to celebrate that! [Laughs]'

Helena Bonham Carter (Bellatrix Lestrange)

'It would involve lots of violent spells. Fire, she was a pyromaniac. She's an arrested child. Not that all children are sadists, but there's a sort of savage lack of empathy. She's a toddler.'

How about a play area for toddlers then?

'Yup! A fun a place to shriek and shout, and make a lot of mess and noise, and be totally out of control, and anarchic.'

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter - Diagon Alley is open today at Universal Orlando.
