Texas announces home

Texas has replaced Notre Dame with LSU on its non-conference schedule for 2019 and 2020, the school announced on Thursday.
Texas and LSU have agreed to a home-and-home that will bring the Tigers to Austin for a game on Sept. 7, 2019 and a return trip to Baton Rouge for Sept. 12, 2020. Notre Dame was forced to back out of the final two meetings of a four-game agreement due to its ACC schedule, required by the school's partial membership, and a new home-and-home with Georgia.
Notre Dame did not want to cancel the games, but after no agreement was reached the school reportedly paid $150,000 to back out of the final two games. Texas and Notre Dame will still play in South Bend on Sept. 5, 2015 and in Austin on Sept. 3, 2016.
Texas also announced a three-game agreement with USF, bringing the Bulls to Austin in 2019 and 2024 with a game in Tampa on Sept. 3, 2022.
