Brittney Griner fine after random knife attack in China

Brittney Griner was mostly unharmed after an male assailant slashed her elbow Monday in China for, apparently, no reason at all.
According to the Associated Press who spoke with Griner's agent, Griner and her teammates were boarding a bus after practice when a man slashed Griner's elbow and attempted to stab one of her teammates. Luckily he was clumsy with the blade, as the players' winter coats provided enough protection.
The man, according to reports, was arrested after returning to the scene covered in blood.
Griner suffered a small cut, according to her agent. She did not need further treatment.
Griner, who plays in the WNBA for the Phoenix Mercury, competes professionally in China, too, for the Beijing Great Wall.
