Neil deGrasse Tyson Reviews Interstellar, Science Nerds Rejoice

Paramount Pictures

America's favorite astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson is weighing in on this year's biggest sci-fi film Interstellar, and he's pretty happy with how the science checks out.

The Cosmos host has previously shared his thoughts on big budget films like Deep Impact, Terminator, and Gravity.

Though he's often critical of movies that fall flat when they trade scientific accuracy for Hollywood glitz and glam, Tyson seems to give a seal of approval to the new Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway hit. Among the highlights, Tyson is pro-feminism and anti-fist fights.

For movie buffs who wish more reviews included the word 'electrodynamics,' this one's for you! Warning: Spoilers ahead!

REMINDER: Never look to me for opinions on new films. All I do is highlight the science one might or might not find in them.

In #Interstellar: They explore a planet near a Black Hole. Personally, I?d stay as far the hell away from BlackHoles as I can
