Which 2 New Shows Just Got Canceled?
The verdict is in and it's not going to be a happy Halloween for two new comedies.
In fact, the grim reaper just claimed two victims, since NBC canceled two shows before trick-or-treaters could even ring their first doorbell!
The network pulled the plug on 's Bad Judge and rom-com A to Z. Both comedies were pulling in low ratings, as Bad Judge earned a low 0.9 while A to Z scraped by with a 0.7 in adults 18-49.
But there's actually a silver lining in this bad news, since both freshman comedies aren't being pulled from the schedule.

Both shows will air all 13 episodes that were originally ordered in their original time slots. So far, Bad Judge has shot 10 episodes and A to Z has shot 11 episodes.
At least NBC can still brag that it wasn't the first network to axe a new show airing this season. That honor goes to ABC, since it previously canceled Manhattan Love Story, the low-rated freshman rom-com set in the Big Apple. Plus, ABC didn't even let Manhattan Love Story finish out its run, as the network immediately pulled it from the schedule.
But technically, NBC was the first to cancel a show, since the network grounded Mission Control, starring Krysten Ritter as an astronaut in the '60s, before it even aired, while Fox decided not to go forward with Hieroglyph, its ambitious drama set in ancient Egypt that was set to debut in 2015.
Deadline was the first to report this news.
