UCLA and Michigan have agreed to a home-and-home series that will take place during the 2022 and 2023 seasons. UCLA athletic director Dan Guerrero announced the agreement on Thursday.
'This home-and-home series is one we believe fans of both universities, and fans of college football at the national level, will enjoy immensely,' said Guerrero in a release. 'We're excited to face a quality opponent such as Michigan.'
The first game will take place in Ann Arbor on Sept. 10, 2022, with UCLA hosting the return trip at the Rose Bowl on Sept. 2, 2023.
Michigan and UCLA have played 11 times in their history with Michigan holding an 8-3 advantage over the Bruins. The last time the schools met was in the 2000 Rose Bowl, which UCLA won 23-20. The last regular-season meeting was a 38-9 win by the Wolverines at Michigan Stadium in 1996.
