The Jonas Brothers call it quits

It may not be for good, but it's for certain.


It's official: the Jonas Brothers are back to being just brothers.


After rumors of a rift and an abruptly canceled tour, the band has told People they're done.


'It's over for now,' Kevin Jonas said.


'It's really hard to say 'forever,' ' said Nick. 'We're closing a chapter, for sure.'


'It was a unanimous decision,' said Joe.


The band's spokesman, Jesse Derris, told the magazine earlier this month that a 'deep rift within the band' had developed over their musical direction.


Perhaps most ominously, their official Twitter account, @JonasBrothers, was deactivated.
