Johnson, Benavidez make weight

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A UFC flyweight title rematch between Demetrious Johnson and Joseph Benavidez is officially on, as each made the 125-pound limit Friday.
Johnson (18-2-1) will seek his third consecutive title defense in the main event of Saturday's UFC on Fox card inside Sleep Train Arena. He and Benavidez first met for the inaugural 125-pound title in September 2012. Johnson won via split decision.
Both fighters weighed in at the 125-pound limit. Benavidez (19-3), who has won his past two fights by knockout, will have the benefit of the hometown crowd, as he trains out of Team Alpha Male in Sacramento.
'Demetrious is an amazing fighter all around,' Benavidez said earlier in the week. 'He's a world champion at this weight class. I don't think he gets enough credit, you know, pound for pound, as one of the best fighters.
'Thankfully, for me, I have been in there with him for 25 minutes. I have a little better idea of his speed and movement.'
All 22 fighters set to compete at the event successfully made weight. In the co-main event, former bantamweight title contenders Urijah Faber and Michael McDonald will each try to move closer to another shot at the belt.
ESPN.com ranks Faber (29-6) and McDonald (16-2) the No. 2 and No. 3 bantamweights in the world, respectively.
