Weeks after reportedly agreeing to terms on a new contract with Florida State, head football coach Jimbo Fisher signed a new deal Tuesday morning, a high-ranking university source has told the Tallahassee Democrat.

The terms of the deal were not revealed, but they are expected to be announced at a news conference Tuesday in California when the No. 1-ranked Seminoles arrive for the BCS national championship game against Auburn.

Fisher, who has led the Seminoles to a 13-0 record, has been rumored to be a candidate for the head coaching position at Texas.
