Kate Upton, Maksim Chmerkovskiy break up after six months

Merry Christmas, men of the world: Kate Upton is single again.
The Sports Illustrated model and her boyfriend of six months, 'Dancing with the Stars' pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy, have parted ways, Us Weekly reports.

'They are really good friends still and speak all the time, but their schedules just made it too difficult and it fell apart,' a source told the magazine. 'It just wasn't working anymore.'
The two went public with their romance in September after beginning to date in June of this year.

'She's an amazing person,' Chmerkoskiy, 33, gushed of 21-year-old Upton in October. 'We have an incredible time together, and you know, I definitely didn't see that coming and I think neither did she. We enjoy each other's company very much and like I said, she's a great girl that I never though anything romantic like this could have happened.'
