Nintendo Direct: NES Remix Announced
Late in the Nintendo Direct announcement stream presented by Nintendo today, Iwata revealed a eShop exclusive title for the Wii U console called NES Remix. NES Remix takes scenes from popular NES titles and reimagines them in a whole new way. Titles such as Super Mario Bros, Donkey Kong, Excitebike, Urban Champion, and many more. In the trailer we caught glimpses of Link in a Donkey Kong stage, and even Excitebike with a new blind view. Iwata goes on to explain that many of the best moments in these classics will be highlighted and new challenges will created and experienced. There will also be added Miiverse integration to allow for posting new stamps and scores to compete with others. NES Remix is available now on the Wii U eShop.
