Ellen Page poses backstage with Orange Is the New Black's Laverne Cox at the 2014 GLAAD Media Awards held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday (April 12) in Los Angeles.
The 27-year-old actress presented Laverne with the Stephen F. Kolzak Award for her work paving the way for other transgender men and women.
'Many of you know that I officially came out on Valentine's Day, and one of the best things that came from that is to show support for the people who I admire,' Ellen said during her speech.
Laverne stepped out on the red carpet wearing a red dress and later changed into a blue gown for the awards ceremony.
