Guardians of the Galaxy previewed during Agents of SHIELD
Guardians of the Galaxy was previewed during Marvel's Agents of SHIELD last night (April 15) on ABC.
The blockbuster follows American pilot Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) as he joins a misfit band of heroes after stealing a powerful orb coveted by the villainous Ronan (Lee Pace).
The film's eponymous team also includes Zoe Saldana as Gamora, daughter of Thanos, Dave Bautista as warrior Drax the Destroyer and Vin Diesel and Bradley Cooper as the voices of Groot and Rocket Raccoon respectively.
'The growth of these characters allows the film to create its own personality and identity,' said Diesel. 'That's always fun when you're at the frontier of something new.'

Benicio del Toro, Glenn Close, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker and Djimon Hounsou feature in the supporting cast for the movie.
Guardians of the Galaxy will open in cinemas on August 1.
