The first preview of Disney's 'Girl Meets World' was released Thursday.
The 30-second clip of the sequel of the 1990's hit 'Boy Meets World' shows Cory Matthews, played by Ben Savage, 32, all grown up and struggling with parenthood.
When his seventh-grade daughter, Riley Matthews, played by Rowan Blanchard, tries sneaking out her bedroom window with her best friend, Matthews steps in to stop her.
'Here's what I'm thinking,' he tells his daughter and her friend, Maya Fox, played by Sabrina Carpenter. 'If it was your world, Maya would have you on the subway already thinking you put something over on me.'
While he was a young boy in the original series, Matthews is now a husband to Topanga Lawrence, his young love played by Danielle Fishel, 32, and the father of a tween.
The sequel focuses on 12-year-old Riley's adolescent challenges.
'Boy Meets World' had a successful seven season run that ended in 2000. There is no official premiere date for the new series, but it will hit the small screen this summer.
'Got the great news tonight that #GirlMeetsWorld was picked up for 8 more episodes - a total of 21!,' Fishel tweeted in January. 'Can't wait for everyone to see them all.'
