British Open: Rory McIlroy six clear after three rounds

(CNN) -- Rory McIlroy will take a six-shot lead into the final round of the Open Championship after firing a four-under par 68 at the Royal Liverpool Golf Club, Hoylake on Saturday.
The Northern Irishman finished the third round in style holing an eagle putt to finish on 16-under par.
Rickie Fowler is McIlroy's nearest challenger -- the American also carding a round of 68 to leave him on 10-under par.
One shot further back is Spain's Sergio Garcia and Dustin Johnson of the U.S.
