Tom Brady, Tedy Bruschi Differ On How Long Patriots QB Has Left In NFL

FOXBORO, Mass. - Tom Brady seemed to be accepting his football mortality Thursday, saying 'this could be your last training camp.' Just one day later, however, Brady is ready to play past his 41st birthday.

Former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi, now an ESPN analyst, said Friday on 'SportsCenter' that Brady has four more years left in him, which led to a humorous exchange between the ex-teammates, as transcribed by ESPN.com.

Bruschi: 'I'm giving him four (more seasons).'

Brady: 'Four?'

Bruschi: 'Four is realistic.'

Brady: 'You're out of your mind.'

Bruschi: 'Oh yeah?'

Brady, who's signed through 2017 and has said in the past that he wants to play past the age of 40, wouldn't say how long he has left, but that he hopes it's more than four years.

'Hopefully I do it for a long time,' Brady said. 'Hopefully for longer than the four years over here that my buddy wants me to play.'
