Chris Pratt shares photo of Scooby

Chris Pratt wasn't always a guardian of the galaxy.

The 35-year-old actor was homeless before his rise to stardom and lived in a Scooby-Doo van.

'Can't believe I found this picture!!!' he wrote on Facebook Friday along with a photo of him posing near the home on wheels. 'This is the van I lived in!!!'

Pratt was a struggling actor at the time trying for his big break.

'In my hand is the script for the movie that got me out of Maui,' he added. 'Crazy.'

While he doesn't say what movie the script was for, it's likely to be from the 2000 Rae Dawn Chong-directed 'Cursed Part 3,' according to The Independent. It was that year when Pratt, a college drop-out who moved to Hawaii, was working at Bubba Gump Shrimp Company where he met Chong and the rest is history.

'It's a pretty awesome place to be homeless,' Pratt told The Independent in July of his homeless days in the Rainbow state. 'It would be different if I lived on the streets of Chicago and ate garbage from a dumpster.'

The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star, who is married to actress Anna Faris, is now basking in the joys of having a hit film, which garnered $94 million at the box office during its opening weekend.

His current success is a far cry from the days he lived in his van when he 'just drank and smoked weed and worked minimal hours, 15-20 hours per week, just enough to cover gas, food and fishing supplies. You know, it was a charming time.'
