Penn State one

Penn State and Central Florida kicked off the season in Ireland, and the thrilling final two minutes of the game were a perfect way to start the season.

Penn State went into the fourth quarter leading 20-10, but two receptions by UCF receiver Josh Reese allowed the Knights to come back. Justin Holman hit Reese in the endzone for a 10-yard touchdown pass early in the quarter, and with under two minutes to play, on 4th-and-10, Reese made a miraculous catch to put UCF in the red zone.

Penn State fans couldn't believe it.

On the next play, Holman ran it in from six yards out to give UCF a 24-23 lead.

Penn State took over with just 1:13 on the clock, but Christian Hackenberg marched the Nittany Lions from their own 23-yard-line to the UCF 19.

Kicker Sam Ficken drilled a 23-yard field goal to break UCF's heart and give James Franklin his first win as coach of Penn State.
