Some Curt Schilling stories are more explosive than others.
The three-time World Series-winning pitcher posted on his Facebook page Saturday morning about a fake grenade incident at Boston's Logan airport involving his son.
'Want a good one to start your day?' Schilling wrote. 'We are at Logan getting ready to fly. Heading through security when one of my sons looks at me in panic....'DAD!' .....OMG I THINK I LEFT MY FAKE GRENADE IN MY BAG!!
'Me .....ummm, what??? 3 seconds later the belt stops, every tsa person is on their walkie talkies. Then, they shoo everyone in line behind us away...15 minutes later the bomb squad arrives....'
Schilling, the ex-Red Sox hurler who now works as a baseball analyst at ESPN, also described the incident on his Twitter page.
New England Cable News reported on its website that the incident did not cause any delays. Schilling and his family were reportedly taken to a private room where they explained that is was just a plastic toy grenade.
