Jennifer Lopez Reacts to Marc Anthony's Engagement
Anthony, 46, had announced his engaged to model Shannon De Lima, 26, on Wednesday although he also said that the proposal had come several months earlier.
Lopez, 45, said, 'I'm happy for him', and adding that she is totally single at the moment but she will not be forever. She said she is hopeful she will meet someone special soon.
Marc and Shannon are reportedly planning a November wedding in the Dominican Republic.
Jennifer ended her seven-year long marriage with her third husband Marc in 2011. The ex-couple got married in 2004 and shared now six-year-old twins Emme and Maximilian.
Anthony has four other children from his previous relationships with Dayanara Torres and Debbie Rosado. His upcoming nuptial to Shannon will be his third marriage.
Lopez has been busy promoting her new tell-all memoir 'True Love.' In it, she gives details on her relationship with Anthony and how their marriage fell apart.
The Booty singer had recently spoke about her past romances, where she also blamed her failed relationships on her showbiz entourage.
She admitted that having so many helpers in her home might have negatively affected her romantic relationships.
Jennifer's remarks came up during her 'True Love' book talk with Hoda Kotb at New York City's 92nd Street Y on Thursday.
She explained that there are lots of people in her life and in her home, and she thinks it was a big part of the discomfort on her past relationships.
Before her marriage to Marc, Jennifer had two other husbands. She was married to Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998 and then to dancer Cris Judd from 2001 to 2002.
She was also got engaged to Ben Affleck in 2002 but the engagement was called off in 2004.
After her marriage with Marc ended, Jennifer dated choreographer Casper Smart in 2011. They also broke up on June of this year.
