They dined at Serafina in Rittenhouse Square.Scott Hartnell brought up the subject of what if he were to take a run at Claude Giroux on Friday night when the Flyers host the Columbus Blue Jackets at Wells Fargo Center (see game notes).'He didn't even know I was playing with those guys,' Wayne Simmonds, who is the 'new' Hartnell on Giroux's line with Jakub Voracek, said with a smile.'He was saying something that he might go after G and I was like, 'I'm there buddy, you'll have to answer to me,'' Simmonds said. 'He changed the subject pretty quickly.'Hartnell, who spent seven seasons in a Flyers sweater (see story), had dinner with teammates, including Simmonds, Giroux and Brayden Schenn on Thursday night.'I expect a standing ovation for Hartsy,' Simmonds said. 'He did a lot for the city and the community. It's only right.'He's always upbeat. He's happy to come back to Philly and make his debut. We've got to put a damper on that and shut them down.'Voracek went to dinner with the Blue Jackets' Jared Boll and Ryan Johansen, then met up with Hartnell later.'It was good to see him,' Voracek said. 'It's going to be exciting for him to come back here. I am sure he is going to get some appreciation from the fans. What he's done for the city, the team and organization, it's good to see him back.'Giroux was a bit defensive with reporters, even denying at first he had dinner with Hartnell, before dropping his guard.Asked about playing Hartnell, he said, 'Any time you play against ex-teammates, there's a little more motivation. You want to be able to chirp him a little. It's going to be a fun game.'
