Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili questionable to play for Spurs at Golden State

The Canadian Press - ONLINE EDITION

OAKLAND, Calif. - Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili are questionable to play for the San Antonio Spurs at the Golden State Warriors.

The Spurs say both might sit out Tuesday night's game to rest. Duncan played 35 minutes and Ginobili 24 minutes in San Antonio's 89-85 win at the Los Angeles Clippers on Monday night.

Spurs coach Gregg Popovich often rests his veterans at least one game when playing back-to-back days. Also sitting out for the defending NBA champions are Tiago Splitter (right calf tightness), Marco Belinelli (mild groin strain) and Patty Mills (right shoulder surgery).

Warriors forward David Lee is out for with a strained left hamstring and guard Klay Thompson is questionable with a sprained right hand.
