A welterweight bout between Tyron Woodley and Kelvin Gastelum will co-headline a UFC 183 pay-per-view event on Jan. 31 in Las Vegas.

UFC officials announced the pairing on Tuesday. The event is scheduled to take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Gastelum (10-0) is just three days removed from his first co-headliner appearance at UFC 180 last weekend in Mexico City. The 23-year-old welterweight submitted Jake Ellenberger in the first round via rear-naked choke.

Gastelum, winner of The Ultimate Fighter 17 reality series as a middleweight, is 5-0 in the UFC with two finishes. He is based out of Arizona but held his last fight camp at Alliance MMA in San Diego.

Woodley (14-3) is coming off a first-round knockout over Dong Hyun Kim in August. The American Top Team fighter has won three of his last four, all by way of knockout. A former Strikeforce title challenger, Woodley's two losses in the UFC have been to Rory MacDonald and Jake Shields.

A non-title middleweight bout between Anderson Silva and Nick Diaz will headline UFC 183.
