(Updated) Find out where to watch the 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' trailer this ...
It looks like the Force is waking up a bit earlier than expected.
In a post that has since been removed, Regal Cinemas revealed earlier today on its social media accounts, its website, and in a Regal Crown Club newsletter that the first trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens will premiere in select theaters throughout the upcoming Thanksgiving weekend.
Regal listed nine theaters throughout the United States where the trailer will be played before every movie showing from Nov. 28 through Nov. 30. The theater chain later removed the list from its Facebook, Twitter, and website pages.
It's unlikely these theaters, if accurate, would be the only locations to premiere the trailer in all of America. This debut plan is similar to the one for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace, which included several dozen theaters throughout the country. The original trailer for the prequel film first appeared behind select movie theater screenings in November of 1998.
While Disney has not confirmed these or any other theaters to be hosting the trailer, J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot production company did tweet out that the trailer, coming in at around 88 seconds, will be debuting in theaters this weekend.
AMC Theatres acknowledged the news as well, tweeting that information is on its way.
Yes, we've heard the @StarWars trailer news too. We'll have an update in the not too distant future. http://ift.tt/1y8O0O1

A request for comment from Disney was not immediately returned prior to publishing. EW will update this post as theaters screening the trailer are officially announced.
