Report: Nokia Offers Free Netflix in UK with Lumia
In an apparent bid to boost U.K. holiday sales of its Lumia 1020 smartphone, Nokia is offering a free one-year Netflix subscription to Vodafone customers who purchase the phone, according to a report.
The Financial Times reported Nokia is also offering similar Netflix-bundled promotions outside of the United Kingdom, with Nokia footing most of the bill for the tie-in.
The Lumia 1020 works off the Windows platform and its hardware centers around a 41-megapixel camera.
