The new and final trailer for The Hunger Games: Catching Fire made its debut on Sunday night, giving fans of Katniss Everdeen a small taste of the drama set to unfold in the second installment of the franchise.

Starring Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Mellark, Catching Fire picks up a few months after the conclusion of the 74th annual Hunger Games, as the victors now have new challenges, and enemies, to face.

The trailer for the Lionsgate film begins with Katniss picking up her bow and arrow as the camera follows the Hunger Game victor while she climbs to the top of a tree in a lush, green forest.

As she gazes down, a clock dial made of different panels stands out among the green trees. She turns her gaze upwards as a voice over begins.

'Ms. Everdeen, you fought very hard in the arena,' says Donald Sutherland as President Snow. 'But those were games. Would you like to be in a real war?'

As Sutherland asks the question, Katniss aims her arrow to the sky, to where a camera is situated and Snow watches. She pulls back the string and shoots the arrow.

The trailer cuts to Peeta and Katniss as they ride a chariot into Capitol City in their now-famous fire costumes.

Thousands cheer on the winners of the Hunger Games, as Katniss casts a worried and heavily made-up eye toward the crowd.

The clip jumps to Katniss hugging her sister Primrose (Willow Shields) back at home in District 12.

The next scene shows Katniss on board the luxury bullet train that originally took her to the Games as she makes appearances in the different Districts.

As the train flies by, graffiti of Katniss' signature mockingjay emblem can be spied on the nearby wall.

Suddenly, the trailer the shows Katniss as she stands at a podium, addressing a crowd that teeters on the edge of a riot.

Cut to Katniss, who fires an arrow, destroying a computer-generated opponent.

The music swells as a clip montage begins, showing a fire as it breaks out in a lab, Katniss as she is restrained by Haymitch Abernathy (played by Woody Harrelson), Primrose yelling for her sister, the destruction of a forest of palm trees by a metal cornicopia, a trio running through the destruction and Katniss holding a pendent that unfolds into images of Primrose, her mother and Gale.

The montage of images speeds up, showing a fast succession of stills from the upcoming movie, including Katniss and Gale sitting on the edge of a pond, a plane about to take off, Katniss on stage in her Mockingjay costume, a shocked President Snow, Katniss in the dark as an ominous mist approaches, baboons on the brink of attack and hundred of mockingjays that chase Katniss though a forest until she hits an invisible border.

As the music hits its stride, Katniss appears screaming, with her hands covering her ears as she falls to the ground.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire will open in theaters on November 22, 2013
