'Dancing With the Stars' sends spunky celeb home
Someone definitely went home this week. Who was it?
Host Tom Bergeron started Week 7 of Dancing With the Stars by announcing Cher will be on next week's show to perform and judge.
But first, on Monday's episode, our eight remaining stars had to dance an individual dance and a Halloween-themed team dance (Team Spooky Bom Bom vs. Team Foxing Awesome) before someone was eliminated. Their scores from last week's non-eliminated were factored in with this week's scores, along with votes.
Bill Engvall was at the bottom of the pack going into the night. Would he survive?
Here's how they stacked up with judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman and Bruno Tonioli:
Amber Riley and Derek Hough are a team in pain. His back hurts, and her knees hurt. 'He's pushing through the pain and my fear is he's going to make himself worse,' she said in rehearsals, noting how hard the paso doble is. 'The dance is really kicking my butt,' she said. 'It's really up to us to decide what we're going to do,' said Derek. But for all the pre-show angst about him maybe not dancing, he was as fierce as ever on the dance floor, doing his matador-like thing with everything he had to give. The crowd loved it. And so did the judges. Bruno said it was 'incredible,' quibbling a bit about her shoulders. Carrie Ann raved, saying she 'lit this ballroom up!' Len said they captured the 'essence' of the dance perfectly. Scores: 10, 10, 9 = 29 Total: 61 + 30 = 91
Brant Daugherty said the jive 'seemed like the simplest thing, but so much can go wrong.' His jive with Peta Murgatroyd included a cartwheel and lots of flicks and kicks. Bruno said he was 'like a frisky schoolboy.' His energy was admirable, but Bruno said he went off his timing at points. Carrie Ann agreed: 'I think the routine was just a hair too challenging,' but she added, 'He missed not one step!' Len loved his 'energy and enthusiasm.' Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 58 + 30 = 88
Elizabeth Berkley danced a quickstep. 'It's extreme,' she said of Val's intense practicing. On the ballroom floor, the Showgirls actress and partner Val Chemrkvoskiy performed a rushed but cute performance. Len raved: 'That was a UFO - utterly full on!' Bruno raved, too. But added that 'you did lose a little bit' of body contact because it was so fast. Carrie Ann said she was 'impressed' with Berkley's 'growth.' Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 59 + 27 = 86

Corbin Bleu and partner Karina Smirnoff wanted to do a cha cha that would blow away the judges, but Karina was struggling with the choreography. Could they get it together in time? Oh, yes. They smiled, twirled and completely rocked the ballroom floor, winning the crowd and the judges. Bruno called it 'brilliant.' Carrie Ann said it was 'the tightest cha cha I've ever seen.' Len agreed, praising his footwork but not his 'gyration.' Scores: 10, 9, 10 = 29 Total: 56 + 30 = 86
Snooki said she was going to channel Beyonce for her samba. At least for the first part. It was a tough week, though. She wasn't getting the dance. 'I feel stupid,' adding, 'I don't feel positive.' She had some troubles keeping step, but the judges liked it. Len said it 'well done.' Bruno said it took her while to get into the samba groove. Carrie Ann said that at times she was 'ahead of the music.' Scores: 9, 9, 9 = 27 Total: 57 + 27 = 84
Jack Osbourne struggled with learning the jive. 'I think I have a little bit of mid-season blues,' he said during rehearsals, adding that he was 'feeling pressure' but had hit a wall. it was 'fatigue' and he wasn't sure if it was related to his MS or if he was just tired after all the dancing. Partner Cheryl Burke told him there was 'no reason' he couldn't win the competition. Their jive didn't show any lack of energy. Len wanted it to be a 'little bit crisper in the feet.' Bruno said he has a 'wonderful ease' and 'charm' to what he does. Carrie Ann said it was 'perfectly suited' to him. Scores: 10, 8, 9 = 27 (Carrie Ann broke her paddle and gave it to Jack as a memento.) Sharon Osbourne said 'it's a helluva journey.' Total: 54 + 30 = 84
Leah Remini was again worried about partner Tony Dovolani's choreography for her dance this week. Chelsea Handler was in the room to support her 'friend.' Leah and Tony's salsa was sizzling with wild lifts and winging moves, all executed perfectly by the two. Tom Bergeron mentioned she had been battling some rib injuries. 'Everybody has injuries,' said Leah, but didn't want to make it 'obvious.' And it wasn't. 'You were in the zone, my dear,' said Carrie Ann. Len said some of the lifts 'weren't quite clean enough,' but he loved it. Bruno said he 'loved it.' Scores: 9, 8, 9 = 27 Total: 54 + 27 = 81
Bill Engvall and partner Emma Slater danced a quickstep to Viva Las Vegas. 'The quickstep is a sprint for a minute and a half. It does not stop,' he said during rehearsals, adding that he was really hoping for some 9 scores. He hammed it up and flowed around the room nicely. Carrie Ann noted that they didn't break hold, but thought it was a little loose. Len said it had energy and said it was 'well done.' Bruno said 'most of the steps were right.' Scores: 8, 7, 8 = 23 Total: 47 + 27 = 74

Team Spooky Bom Bom earned 27 for each member of the team, which included Bill, Leah, Snooki and Elizabeth. Team Foxing Awesome, which included Brant, Amber, Jack and Corbin, earned a perfect score of 30 for each member!
As soon as they were done, Tom Bergeron said all members of the team were safe!
In the end, it came down to Snooki and Bill Engvall, two fan favorites.
Who was sent packing?
Snooki!
Gasps of surprise went up from the audience. Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi had tears in her eyes. 'I can't even talk right now,' she told co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet. 'I love everybody here,' she said, wiping away tears.
