Hosted by Nintendo president Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of Europe president Satoru Shibata, the presentation will air on the Nintendo Direct website at 2pm (UK time) on December 18.

Nintendo will focus specifically on games releasing on Wii U and 3DS in spring.

Other first-party titles include Mario Party: Island Tour, Yoshi's New Island and Kirby: Triple Deluxe.

It was recently revealed that Wii U sales increased by 340% in North America last month.

The NPD Group said that the Nintendo 3DS sold roughly 770,000 units in November, which drove the handheld's lifetime total to about 10.5 million units.
