UConn's Shabazz Napier hits wild buzzer
UConn trailed Florida 64-63 in the closing seconds of their Monday night game at Harry A. Gampel Pavilion in Storrs, Connecticut. Their star Shabazz Napier brought the ball up the court, went off a pick, and was quickly swarmed by Gators players. After seeming to lose possession, Napier got the ball back somehow, picked it up, and fired an absolute brick.
It didn't matter, though. After the miss, the ball popped back out to him and he didn't hesitate. As time expired he fired a mid-range jumper and connected. Dude was fearless.
Here's a courtside video of the play. It's pretty incredible.
