Android Gaming Console OUYA Gets a Makeover With More Storage and ...

OUYA hasn't been in the news much lately and hasn't really taken off in the mainstream gaming world, but does have a small set of devoted followers who enjoy the Android microconsole. The OUYA team has decided to give the little cube a makeover, adding some storage and revamping the OUYA controller. The OUYA has also been updated to fix some WiFi connectivity issues which have plagued some OUYA users. The new OUYA console option will come with 16GB of internal storage, double that of the original OUYA console which rocks 8GB of storage. The new 16GB model will carry a price tag of $129, just $30 more than the OG 8GB OUYA which will maintain a price of $99.

The 16GB OUYA is available for purchase directly from OUYA, or can be purchased from Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop and Target. Extra OUYA controllers are available for $49, controller face plates for $9.99 and a bundle for $219.95 which includes a OUYA console, four controller and $10 credit towards the purchase of a game.

Are you excited about the revamped OUYA console or are Android microconsoles for the birds? Let us know your thoughts.
