Rascal Flatts sets sights on June 28 date the Brandt Centre
REGINA - One day after performing at the 49th annual Academy of Country Music awards in Las Vegas, Rascal Flatts announced Monday it would be bringing its Rewind tour to Regina's Brandt Centre on June 28.
Comprised of Gary LeVox, Joe Don Rooney and Jay DeMarcus, Rascal Flatts will be making its first appearance in the Queen City area since serving as the Sunday night headliner at the 2011 Craven Country Jamboree.
Tickets for the show are $139, $89 and $49 and will go on sale at 10 a.m. on April 12. Tickets will be available online (www.ticketmaster.ca), by telephone (1-855-985-5000 1-855-985-5000) and at all Ticketmaster outlets.
Rascal Flatts has fashioned an impressive career over the past 15 years with seven No. 1 albums and 12 No. 1 singles. In addition, the group has earned 10 ACM awards and eight Country Music Association awards.
The group's discography includes These Days, Mayberry, Bless The Broken Road, Skin (Sarabeth), What Hurts The Most, My Wish and Here Comes Goodbye.
Rascal Flatts is touring in support of Rewind, its ninth studio album, which is slated for release on May 13. The first single from the disc, also titled Rewind, was released on Jan. 21 and reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Country chart.
The tour opens on May 16 in St. Louis and includes three dates in Canada. In addition to stopping in Regina, Rascal Flatts will play in Dauphin on June 29 and Toronto on Sept. 29.
While Sheryl Crow and Gloriana will serve as opening acts for the early dates on the tour, neither has been confirmed for the Regina show.
