Sandra Bullock's Los Angeles home trespassed by 'hot prowler suspect'
Sandra Bullock's house was broken into while she was home, reports TMZ.
An unidentified man police nabbed was a 'hot prowler suspect' and said to have been 'checking out the house' of the Academy Award winner when he was arrested shortly after 6:30 a.m., Muria Vanegas of the Los Angeles Police Department told the Los Angeles Times.
The 39-year-old man, whose name has not been released, was in custody at 9 a.m. awaiting charges.
While he never entered the home, Bullock was reportedly there when the incident took place, although it's unclear whether her 4-year-old son was also there, according to the gossip site.
Still, there's no determination as to whether the man was there to stalk the Academy Award-winning actress or to attempt to burglarize her home.
The 49-year-old actress was in Los Angeles to accept the Decade of Hotness honor at Saturday night's Guys Choice Awards, reports E! News.
Before taking the stage, Bullock was praised by former co-stars Hugh Grant, Keanu Reeves and Matthew McConaughey.
'I feel like I'm at my funeral,' she joked during her speech. 'Decade of Hotness ... My question was what decade? I have several under my belt.'
The brunette beauty continued making fun of her accolade, which Grant felt was definitely deserved, since she was once 'sneaky hot' and is now just 'hot.'
'I'm still convinced I'm up here because someone dropped out and they needed someone quickly and we know I'm home on Saturdays,' she continued, poking fun at the actual trophy.
'How many people hold this up and say, 'I'm so horny!'' she said.
'This is an amazing slingshot for a 49-year-old,' Bullock added before thanking 'every hairstylist and makeup artist for creating the illusion because I didn't look like this a couple hours ago.'
Hours later the actress was home when trespasser reportedly made his way onto her West L.A. property during the early morning hours of Sunday.
A rep for Bullock has yet to respond to the Daily News' request for comment.
