Regular readers know that I loved Pacific Rim. Regular readers are probably imagining that I'm doing a funny little dance right now. Regular readers are completely correct.


Thanks to Buzzfeed for the video, and this statement from Guillermo Del Toro:


The characters I love will return. Raleigh, Mako, Newt, Gottlieb and who knows, maybe even Hannibal Chau - but we are taking them into a fresh territory that will display amazing sights and battles. The first film set the stage and now we're ready to have a blast.


Damn straight Hannibal Chau's coming back.
