Texans trade T.J. Yates to Falcons for Akeem Dent
T.J. Yates wasn't released by the Texans after all.
Houston reversed course Tuesday and traded the quarterback to the Falcons, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per a source informed of the move. In exchange, the Texans received linebacker Akeem Dent from Atlanta. Dent was a third-round pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and has 20 career starts.
