Redskins' DeSean Jackson leaves practice with injury
RICHMOND, Va - New Washington Redskins wide receiver DeSean Jackson suffered a setback at training camp Wednesday morning in the last joint Redskins practice with the New England Patriots.
Jackson came up lame in the middle of a slant route during the morning's light 11-on-11 period. It appears as if he rolled his left ankle or foot on the play.
The 27-year-old limped off the field when the play was over and trainers started attending to him on the sidelines. They wrapped his foot/ankle with ice and Jackson then went to sit in the trainer's tent.
Later, he removed the wrap and walked back to the locker room. It's unclear how serious the injury may be, but Jackson walked under his own power the whole time.
The Redskins open up their preseason schedule Thursday night against the Patriots.
