Led Zeppelin debut new video for 'Rock And Roll' – watch

The band reissue 1971's 'Led Zeppelin IV' this week

Led Zeppelin have shared a new video for 'Rock And Roll' to coincide with their reissue of 'Led Zeppelin IV'. The song is an alternate take of the original album track, released in 1971, now remastered by Jimmy Page and released today (October 27). 'As a song, it was actually kind of punky, pre-punk,' says bassist John Paul Jones in an official statement. 'It was really fast too, on stage anyway. It just got really quick, a lot of energy. It's a lot of fun to play. The crowd loved it. We loved it'. Page adds: ''Rock And Roll' has just got that cheeky energy about. It's a party. 'It's been a long time since I rock and rolled.' It says it all really. It's great lyrics and it's a great performance.' Watch the video beneath.
