Stephen Curry puts the Heat away. (USATSI)

GAME OF THE NIGHT: WARRIORS 114, HEAT 97 : Miami played Golden State even for just about 43 minutes, and then the Warriors put the clamps on. The Warriors went on a 14-0 run in the fourth, showing how great the gap between these two teams really is. The Heat -- without Dwayne Wade! -- scored 36 points in the opening quarter, which was incredibly impressive, but this Golden State squad stuck with it. When the Warriors eventually got things going, it was overwhelming. They've now won six games in a row and are 11-2 on the season.

MUGGSY BOGUT : It's always fun when Andrew Bogut decides to put his point guard hat on. What a skilled, smart player.

LINE OF THE NIGHT : Stephen Curry had 40 points, six rebounds, seven assists, three steals and a block. He shot 12-for-19 from the field, 8-for-11 from 3-point range and 8-for-9 from the line. He's a special one.

UNFAIR : How do you guard Curry in transition? I mean, who else does things like this?

It would have been only four stars without the wiggle.

TWEET OF THE NIGHT : This is why reporters should get courtside seats:

Steve Kerr to one of the Heat's minority partners, sitting in front row: 'What a waste of money. You have to look at my a-- the whole game.'

GREAT SCOTT : Hawks forward Mike Scott did that thing that he does where he piles up points in a short amount of time. Scott had just five points through three quarters against the Wizards, and then he scored 12 points in less than five minutes in the fourth as part of a 24-9 run. That's how Atlanta took a double-digit lead late in the game -- the 105-102 final score wasn't indicative of how the Hawks put Washington away.

TEAGUE ALERT : Atlanta guard Jeff Teague scored 28 points for the second game in a row, and he did so efficiently. That's not easy against John Wall, but Teague has been on a tear lately.

SAD PANDA : Wizards guard Bradley Beal had seven turnovers and shot 4-for-14 in what was his first real rough game since returning from wrist surgery.

BRANDON KNIGHT REVENGE GAME : Bucks guard Brandon Knight had 20 points on 12 field goal attempts, plus eight assists and two steals in a 98-86 win over the Pistons. Milwaukee's 8-7, or a full game ahead of the Cavs in the standings.

WHAAAA : Check out how Giannis Antetokounmpo slows down and freezes Detroit's defense. Then how Jabari Parker easily goes around Josh Smith to finish it. The Bucks are fun.

PHOTOS OF THE NIGHT: BOOGIE VS ERIC LEWIS : I'd like these two photos, taken after Kings head coach Mike Malone was ejected, framed. They're perfect.

OMRIDICULOUS CASSPECTACULAR : Omri Casspi was the Kings' unlikely hero in New Orleans. Starting in place of Rudy Gay, he played with his usual energy and enthusiasm. The aggressive forward was the difference in Sacramento's 99-89 win, finishing with 22 points on 9-for-14 shooting, plus four rebounds. The Kings are 9-5, by the way.
